Rangka is a dynamic platform designed to be a comprehensive data aggregation solution for Malaysia’s Social Enterprise ecosystem. It provides functional, real-time data mapping, enabling enhanced visibility and connectivity among key stakeholders.

Our vision aligns with ASBhive’s mission to be a proactive ecosystem builder. We aim to contribute to a public-facing digital platform where startups, investors, and ecosystem partners can easily discover each other, share data, and foster collaboration. This platform serves as a foundational step towards improving inclusivity and connectivity within the Malaysian entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Core Features

• Automated Data Extraction: AI-powered system designed to collect structured information from various public online sources, such as websites and available public APIs.
• Searchable Web Interface: A user-friendly, public-facing web application that displays the collected startup data, complete with intuitive search and filter options.
• Manual Data Input Function: An interface allowing users to manually submit new information or update existing entries, ensuring the database can be continuously enriched.
• Structured Data Output: The system maintains data in a consistent, structured format, making it easily accessible for viewing and potential future integrations.

Rangka’s architecture is designed as a robust, web-based application with a flexible, modular structure, focused on delivering core functionalities.

How It Works

1. Data Collection: We gather information through automated web scraping from designated online sources and also allow users to manually submit new data directly through the platform.
2. User Interface: The data is presented through a modern, responsive web application, providing an interactive and intuitive experience for users to search, view, and contribute information.

Key Technologies

• Frontend: Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Backend and AI: Powered by Azure AI and ChatGPT for data search and aggregation.

6. Installation & Setup

Visit Rangka.online
To get Rangka up and running quickly on your local machine, follow these simple steps:

1. Clone the Repository: Get a copy of our project code.

   git clone [Your GitHub Repository Link]  
   cd [your-project-directory]  

2. Run the Development Server: Install dependencies and start the application.

   npm install    
   npm run dev  

The application will typically open in your web browser at http://localhost:3000.

7. Usage

Once the application is live:

1. Explore Data: Search for the key terms you want to find relating to the social enterprise you’re interested in.
2. Add New Entries: Use the “Add New Entry” feature to contribute new social enterprise details to the database.
