In a landmark collaboration under the banner of the ASEAN AI Summit, AI Tinkerers KL is joining forces with the National AI Office (NAIO), the Ministry of Health (MOH), Global AI Village (GAIV), The Hive, and the prestigious Asia School of Business (ASB).

Why? To prove that the most pressing national challenges can be solved in a weekend, by the people with their hands on the keyboard. Your challenge is to build a working AI-powered prototype that fundamentally reimagines a core aspect of the Malaysian healthcare experience.

The Challenge: Healthcare Reimagined

The specific problem statements will be unveiled on the day of the event, but the mission is clear: build a “concept car”—a solution that is bold, visionary, and functional enough to prove its potential.

You will be tasked with tackling a critical, real-world challenge derived directly from key friction areas identified by the Malaysian Ministry of Health. This is a unique chance to work on a problem that matters and to look at complex systems with fresh eyes and the most powerful AI tools available, sparking a new path forward.

Compete for a total all-cash prize pool with an expected value of MORE THAN RM 20,000 and gain recognition that money can’t buy. The most promising solutions will earn more than cash rewards; they will earn a direct line to national impact.

Your Day Plan (Tentative):

Expected Deliverables:

Your team must deliver a high-fidelity solution that is close to a production-ready “alpha” version.

• A working software prototype deployed and accessible via a public URL.
• An impressive and intuitive User Interface (UI) with a “wow” factor.
• A functional backend that performs the core logic.
• A live, 5-minute pitch & demo.
• A 30-60 second video demo for the judges.
• A public Git repository with your source code and a README file.
• Data: You are free to use any technology stack. Teams will be responsible for creating, scraping, or simulating their own data. No official datasets will be provided.
